On go the lights, up goes the curtain
It’s the big night, never been more certain
Beating hearts, shining lights
Everyone knows their part
As the spotlight shines so bright

But does the script say about me?
What am I suppose to be?

If life was a show, where am I suppose to go?
If life was a show how am I suppose to know?
What role do I need to play?
And what lines do I have to say?
If life was a show when is my cue?
Standing backstage feeling like one of the few
If life was a show then who am I suppose to be?

On go the dancers, off goes the orchestra
How can you wish for something better?
The audience smiles, the audience laughs
With joy they clap their hands

What song am I suppose to sing?
As I listen to the bells ring.
